Um. Interesting?
Okay, so I just don't get the second one. Loved the first one, actually. How many times have I spoken to someone over here who claims to speak no English and then proceeds to have a conversation with me?! Gah!
But Joel....if I ever hear you start to sing 'Alouette,' I think I'll make a run for it. ;o)
I think the second one appeals more to Canadian humor. I guess you need to know some history. I suppose you could start by trying to read one of those monster Peter C Newman books.
Are the books about cannibalisitc French fur traders in canoes?
